Get Hands-On Experience, At All Levels of Social Work

There’s no limit to a social worker’s impact — the difference you make in one person’s life has the power to uplift the lives of many others. Tulane University’s Master of Social Work (MSW) prepares you to do work that matters in the communities you care about.

Available online and on campus, the MSW program integrates clinical and community-based practices so you can gain hands-on experience in social work. Our field education partnerships in Louisiana and across the U.S. provide opportunities to develop real-world skills with diverse populations.

With full-time and part-time options available, you can complete the MSW in as few as 16 months or extend your degree completion period across two and a half years. A dual-degree program is also available for social work students interested in disaster recovery and resilience — the MSW/MS in Disaster Resilience Leadership.

Let’s take on top social challenges, TUgether.
