Curriculum & Courses

The MSW program requires a total of 60 credit hours and is available for both full-time and part-time students. Students who wish to enroll in the part-time MSW must complete coursework online.

The first program of its kind in the country, the MSW/MS-DRL program prepares social workers with interdisciplinary skills in disaster resilience. The five-semester curriculum requires:

  • 54 credit hours in social work 
  • 30 credit hours in disaster resilience leadership studies
